Terms Of Service For Nexus

1. WHAT NEXUS DOES

Nexus is a Discord bot providing moderation tools, Roblox account verification, quota and activity tracking, ticket support, applications, Leave of Absence management, reaction roles, activity checks, event scheduling, Roblox group management (accepting/removing members and changing ranks), and related community management features, configured through a web dashboard.

2. ACCOUNTS AND ACCESS

The dashboard is accessed via Discord OAuth login. You may only manage settings for Discord servers where you have administrative permissions and where Nexus has been added. Server owners are responsible for how Nexus is configured and used within their server.

3. ROBLOX VERIFICATION

Nexus offers two verification methods: (a) a one-time bio-code check, where you temporarily place a code in your Roblox profile description, or (b) Roblox OAuth login, where you sign in directly through Roblox and grant Nexus permission to confirm your identity. We store your Roblox user ID and username to maintain your verification status and to power rank-based Discord role assignment.

4. ROBLOX GROUP MANAGEMENT

Server administrators may connect one or more Roblox Group API keys to enable in-Discord group management (accepting or declining join requests, removing members, and changing member ranks). These keys are provided voluntarily by administrators and are used only to perform the specific actions administrators or authorized staff request through Nexus's commands. Administrators are responsible for the permissions granted to any API key they provide.

5. DIRECT MESSAGES TO NEXUS

If you send Nexus a direct message, the message content is logged and made visible to the bot's owner for support and monitoring purposes. If you send an image and image analysis is enabled, that image is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) to generate a description of its contents; see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Nexus offers optional paid Premium tiers (monthly, yearly, or lifetime access) processed through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details - these are handled entirely by Stripe. Premium unlocks additional features at the server level. Subscription cancellations, refund requests, and billing disputes should be directed to the bot owner; refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use Nexus to violate Discord's or Roblox's own Terms of Service, to harass or harm others, to circumvent server moderation, or to abuse Roblox group management features to make unauthorized changes to a group you do not have legitimate authority over.

8. AVAILABILITY

Nexus is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot or dashboard, including any loss of Discord roles, Roblox group standing, or data.

10. TERMINATION

We may suspend or remove Nexus's access to a server, or restrict dashboard access, at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Nexus after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
